We started New York’s smash burger obsession: thin patties, crispy edges, big flavor, and no unnecessary extras. What began with one shop grew into locations across Manhattan and Brooklyn, a community of burger-obsessed regulars, and recognition from The Infatuation, The New Yorker, Time Out, and more.

Now, we’re taking that New York energy west. San Francisco marks our first location in California and the next chapter for SMASHED.

“My wife and I love this place. They use very high quality meat and ingredients in their burgers. They are perfectly caramelized and a little crispy on the edges, so tasty! I'd recommend getting doubles in your burgers for the full experience or if you want to be adventurous try the triple! My go to is the Classic Smashed ( double) burger and an order of their fries. I am a huge french fry guy, and I really enjoy their fries as well. Can't wait to go back.”
